I completed a postgraduate training in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy (MSc) at Birkbeck College, University of London and I am Accredited with the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). In 2016 I completed a training in Counselling for Depression, which is recommended by National Institute in Clinical Excellence (NICE) as a treatment for depression. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is the recommended treatment by NICE for PTSD.
Alongside my private practice, I work in an NHS Mental Health Trust (IAPT) providing short-term focused counselling. My clinical experience includes working in a MIND mental health charity, City & East London Alcohol Service, Community NHS Trust, St Joseph’s Hospice (NHS) and University Student Counsellor.
I am accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
